Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely popular American actress and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director - she is an American singer and actress. Kristen is Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment in her early years. In 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. The audition was for a part on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mom signed up for an agent, was also cast in TV and newspaper advertisements. In addition to learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career at that time. Bell played a brief, uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the drama and music club. In her school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell then moved into New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student there. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell was the first to make her credit debut with the role of Becky Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the film cut her character from the film and she only appears in the credits. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and the Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
